"Taj Mahal"
Specifically designed of various textured clear glasses to provide privacy. Bevels surround the panel perimeter.
"Fleur-de-lis" Privacy doors Textured transparent glasses provide privacy. Fleur-de-lis is translucent white glass surrounded by light blue antique glass. Wood panels were cut out of doors to provide the openings for the panels.
"Prairie" (Frank Lloyd Wright) style doors Textured transparent glasses provide privacy and light while the textured colored glasses provide a vibrant design. The modern austerity of the rectangular shapes is softened by the use of uniform arcs (segments of a circle). This is a retrofit into steel doors that previously had blinds encased in insulated glass.
"Harvest" Angular prairie-style design similar to Frank Lloyd Wright. Bevels and textured transparent glasses. Glass panels 10" x 42" each in this example.
"Clear Splendor"
Many types of textured clear glass, bevels, some partially mirrored glass. Most larger squares are of "water" glass.

Painted and fired Celtic designs on opalescent glass surrounded by European transparent colored blown glass with a clear bevel border.
"Facade", Baton Rouge residence
Two full length windows on each side of double entry doors are united into a single facade design. Opalescent blue and white glass and leaf-textured clear glass reflect outside light for visual interest but provide privacy within.
Office Fleur de Lis, Baton Rouge business
Fleur de Lis are made from blown American (Blenko) glass. The variation in thickness provides color graduations. The background of swirled gray glass with pale blue rippled border provides a moderate privacy.
"2003 Miracle House"
The Capital Region Builders Association donates a house to be raffled for the benefit of the OLOL Children's Miracle Network each year. These doors illustrate a retrofit of bevels and privacy glass into doors originally made with three clear panes of glass.
"Pocket Privacy" Door, Livingston, LA Residence
This hollow pocket door between master bedroom and more public areas of the home was reinforced to accept privacy glass. Glue-chip bevel diamonds are surrounded by a narrow band of iridescent glass. These are set against a background and border of nostalgic pattern glass.
"Artist's Choice", Natichioches, LA
The home of Doug Walton, a famous water color artist and teacher, is an art gallery. He commissioned this door for his entrance. The upper portion is an array of elliptical beveled lenses against a gradient violet-to-pink background. the lower portion is red, white and mirror glass.
"Criss-Cross" Privacy Door
Iridescent glass, textured vision-obscuring glass and rectangular bevels are used in an interlocking basket-weave design.
"FAULT"
The perfection of perfectly arranged complex bevels is shattered by a "fault" that causes degeneration into chaos. This could be a physical fault like an earthquake; or a medical fault like a degenerative disease; or a moral fault like a serious sin. Bevels, black and white glass, mirror, hammered clear glass and etching.
