Custom Order Process:    

1.  You realize that you want something unusual, unique, special, beautiful for your entrance door or for a window  in your kitchen or bathroom.  You may already have some ideas or you have seen something on our website that interested you.

2.  You contact DÄZZLE GLÄZZ Studio by email (duncan@dazzleglazz.com) or fax  (225) 216-9486  with your contact information (Name, address, city, state, zip, daytime phone number and evening phone number) and any details (text, sketch, or photo) of your ideas, color preferences, opening size and desired style.  

3. An artist will review  your design information and contact you with any questions or clarifications. 

4. He (or she) will make a color drawing of the window based on the information you provided.  The price will be determined by the complexity of the design and the type of glass used.  This can range from about $100 / sq-ft for simple designs up to about $250 / sq-ft for complex and/or painted designs. A good  rule-of-thumb is about $125 per square foot for most (moderate) designs in moderate size windows.

5.  We email the color drawing or (post it to the residential customer design area of our website) and you will be notified.  If you do not have access to the internet, we can USPS mail you the color drawing.

6.  When you see your magnificent future window, you make an initial investment of 50% of the final price, either by check or credit card.  You also send the exact measurements for the window or door opening to be filled with glass. Inform us of any adjustments to the design.

7. We obtain the necessary glass, enlarge the pattern, cut and fabricate the glass.  If you already have a clear window in place, your art window will fit in front of it on the inside. Alternatively, we can encapsulate your art window with vacuum-sealed, insulated clear glass on both sides of the art glass. This latter process is called encapsulation and it is additional investment. 

8.  When your window is finished, we photograph it,  post it to our website, and inform you of its completion.  We pack, insure & ship it, charge the balance to your credit card, plus packing and shipping charges (or we await your check and shipping instructions).  (Realize that the eye is better than any camera, so the beauty of the finished product viewed in real sunlight will exceed anything we can photograph and put on the web!)

9. You install your unique work of art in your window or door, or use it another way (hanging, standing, etc).  It gives joy and beauty forever!

Every object we produce is a genuine, hand-made-by-us original work of art signed by the artist designer (and also the fabricator if not the same person).
